Sibenik, have you heard of it? Chances are you probably haven't... However this is a shame, Sibenik is one of the best places we got the chance to go to and here are just a few reasons why.
Krka National Park
If there is one thing that coming to Sibenik for, then it is to stay here so you can travel to the Krka National Park. Most people choose to stay in Split, which is a more lively alternative, however if you are wanting a relaxing holiday in a quiet town, this is the place to stay for you.
Sibenik Beach
Although this beach isn't the most spectacular white sandy beach that everyone dreams about, it is stunning when it comes to dinners with a view and late night walk on the beach to see the beautiful backdrop of the most picturesque sunset. If you don't come here for the Krka National Park, come here for the romantic setting, it truly is something worth coming for.
Castle on the hill
Don't get me wrong, it isn't a hike to the top of a mountain, it is just a matter of wandering up an old town cobbled path to reach the castle. However the view from the top, if you fall in love with this town like we have you really will appreciate the view, go up as the sun is setting and just admire the views.
