Prague is a well known city within Europe with it's Gothic old town vibes and stunning views of Charles Bridge and beyond, we really enjoyed our stay here and there are just several things you MUST do when you visit, including:
Charlies Bridge

Charles Bridge, is the main bridge crossing the River Vltava, building of the bridge began very early in the year of 1357 under the command from King Charles IV, and finished in the 15th century, but the name was only made to Charles Bridge in 1870 from the original name Stone Bridge. The bridge itself is decorated by an alley of 30 statues, most of them gargoyles, it's a stunning bridge and most importantly connects either side of the city together as one. The bridge is a picture during the day, but at night it reveals it's more Gothic, eery side with just the street lamps lighting it up.
Prague Castle

Prague Castle is a castle complex, situated on the top of the hill on the opposite side of the river to the Old Town Square, views of the castle can be seen from Charles Bridge itself. It is the official residence of the President of Czech Republic, so it can get very busy on the grounds here, but this particular castle is a stunning attribute to the city and really helps to continue the Gothic theme of Prague.
Bridge Tower

Enjoy a view over Charles Bridge from the bridge tower, it's a small climb to the top but this view is definitely worth it. Pay a small fee of 100 CZK, which converts to around £3, so cheap for such a wonderful view.
Prague astronomical clock

The astronomical clock is situated on one of the many walks out of the Old Town Square, on the side of the Old Town Hall. The clock has three components that make it up, the astronomical dial, which represents the positioning of the Sun and the Moon in the sky, then "The Walk of the Apostles", which is the clockwork hourly showing figures of the Apostles and other moving sculptures and lastly a calendar dial with medallions representing the months. It's a stunning piece of history, still working to this day, so you must come and see this sight whilst it's still functioning.
Old Town Square

The central point to Prague is the Old Town Square, offering a route to all attractions from this square in all directions. The square itself is full of quirkiness and really highlights the main Gothic atmosphere that Prague creates, from the cobbled streets to the old churches surrounding the square, even if you don't mean to you will find yourself wandering through the square to get to your next monument or attraction.
Petrin

If you are an explorer and thrive on a stunning view of a city, then the Petrin walk is something you should definitely make time for during your stay in Prague. At the top of the hill, if you don't fancy yourself climbing to the top of the Petrin Tower, you can still enjoy a very picturesque view over the city.
Petřín Lookout Tower

See Prague from the Petrin Hill, the lookout tower, it's one of the things in Prague that would be a real shame to miss out on if you are in the city. It's 299 stairs to climb to the top and only costs 50 CZK which is around £1.70, which is the small price you have to pay in order to get to the top off the 60 meters high tower on Petrin Hill.
Dancing House

Despite the usual theme across Prague being very historical and Gothic styled, this building doesn't shy away from standing out from the rest of the buildings on this street, situated just off the river Vltava with its unusual architectural statement that this Dancing House has on the rest of Prague.
Church of Our Lady before Týn

The Church of our lady before Týn is a Gothic church and the main feature of the Old Town Square within Prague, it's a stunning feature to the old town and to this day it's the main church within the city so you must not miss out on witnessing this asset to the square,
Lennon Wall

The Lennon Wall or John Lennon Wall is a wall in Prague, Czech Republic, it was a normal wall, since the 1980s it has been filled with John Lennon-inspired graffiti and pieces of lyrics from Beatles' songs, some people aren't happy with the changes that have been since made to the wall as it in no way reflects the original memorial to John Lennon himself and was when we were there, being doodled on by school children, which upsets some of the fans of the beatles because they're using it as a doodle pad on someone's memory. Although the bold and vibrant colouring do still reflect the hippy styling from the 60s. Either way, come and see the wall for yourself and make your own judgements, don't let others put you off.
Ice Bar

The Ice Pub in the Prague is one of the most modern themed things to do within the city, it's a small fee to enter and have a drink here but if you have never witnessed an ice bar before, it's definitely a great one to start with due to it's cleverly decorated walls and seating.
