There are so many places to see in Berlin, but here are a handful of must do's!

Checkpoint Charlie

Checkpoint Charlie, was the name given by the Western Allies to the best-known Berlin Wall crossing point between East Berlin and West Berlin during the Cold War. You can stand here today and get a photo stood with the guards at the front of the checkpoint, or take a tour of the Checkpoint Charlie Museum for €12.50 for an adult or €9.50 for a child.

Brandenburg Gate

Brandenburg gate, is a site for major historical events, today however, it is also considered a symbol of European unity and peace. People come from all across the world to see this monument, which allows this symbol of unity and peace to come to light.

Berlin Wall

Come and see the last remaining parts of the Berlin Wall, although they have taken on a lot of graffiti, it is still a huge historical part of this city. This wall was a guarded concrete barrier that physically and ideologically divided Berlin, it's a must see monument.

Tiergarten

The Tiergarten is a park located in central Berlin, on one side is the Brandenburg Gate, the other is the Victory tower. It's a beautiful park, and it's among the largest parks within the city. If you just fancy a quiet sit down in the sun, whilst tucking into a picnic, this is the place to go.

Museum Island

Museum Island, is the name of the northern half of an island in the Spree river in the central Mittedistrict of Berlin, Germany, the site of the old city of Cölln. It is a complex of five internationally significant museums, all part of the Berlin State Museums: The Altes Museum (Old Museum), The Neues Museum (New Museum), The Alte Nationalgalerie (Old National Gallery), The Bode Museum and The Pergamon Museum.

Victory Tower

The Victory Column is a major tourist attraction in the city of Berlin, to us, it's a must see attraction with it's viewing platform, giving a stunning view across the city, a ticket is required, but it's an attraction showing a different side of the city.

Fernsehturm

The Fernsehturm, or otherwise known as the television tower, you can climb the tower for a small fee, which enables you to have an incredible view of the other side of the city to the view that the Victory Tower provides.
