Day 89, Rome, Italy
It's our last evening in Rome, before we fly to Turkey for our "holiday" of the trip, aka where we can just sit and relax on a beach! We have had such a relaxing day today, revisiting all the sights during both the day and night to capture one last shot of them all in their beauty. We have had such a lovely stay in Rome, with our lovely hosts who on our last night tonight, have treated us to the famous national drink Grappa. Grappa is a drink that unless you are from the UK, you should slowly sip in the evening as a nightcap drink. However Charlie saw this as a traditional British shot opportunity and downed the entire glass, which definitely shocked the Italians after they explained just how strong it is!
It's been the nicest weather so far across Europe, despite the heat being unbearable at times! We do strongly advise coming here at a much cooler time of year if you wish to see all the sights like we have!
We have had an absolutely incredible time travelling around Europe together, we have seen some of Europe's most beautiful sights. We have tried foods from French snails to Italian pizzas, seen waterfalls and mountains, but it's not nearing the end! We are off to have our very last stop in Turkey, for one whole month of pure relaxation before we are going to head home to the United Kingdom where we are going to do some more travelling of our own country!
