It was yet another sunny day in Rome and today we are off to the Spanish steps. Unfortunately, they were doing a bit of work to the bottom of the steps, causing us to not be able to climb them today but the view was still wonderful. Normally you wouldn't get to see the steps without crowds of tourists all over them, so I guess that is a positive that we can take from not being able to walk on them ourselves.

The ice cream here wasn't as good as the Frigidarium, but we could still get ice creams labelled by world-wide brands, like our favourites Oreo and Kinder Bueno. So we enjoyed a nice ice cold treat, whilst we wandered around window shopping for the morning.

If there isn't something we love more than ice cream it is shopping, and Italy is very well known for it's high class shopping scenes. Walking along the cobbled streets down from the Spanish Steps, coming across all the top branded shops alongside the standard high street favourites. If you come to Rome, just like Milan, we advise you come with some money if you want to do some purchasing within any of the shops here.

As we continued wandering around this part of Rome, we couldn't help but notice the very expensive cars lurking around... Although Rome wasn't the most expensive place that we have come to, the people definitely look very expensive, with their smart suits and sports cars.
