If there's one thing we would highly recommend about Rome, is the city at night. It comes alive, with its bright lights perfectly highlighting each monument. And there was one thing on our bucket list that we wanted to do on top of entering the Colosseum and that was to make a wish and throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain!

After we made our wish, it came true... no just kidding but we did stumble across the most amazing ice cream parlour! A friend of ours recommended it to us, and we were so thankful for it! Although you have to queue for a short while to get an ice cream, believe me it will be worth the wait! You can choose among several flavours and then choose to either have melted white milk or dark chocolate on top, which then hardens due to the ice cream being cold, creating a solid chocolate coating... dreamy! Go and queue, it is worth the wait! Plus it's one tenth of the price of some of the ice cream parlours we have been to across Italy.

The street artists come out at night, anything from someone selling plants to creating a masterpiece from spray cans! This may not appeal to all of you, but we couldn't believe that this man could create such good pieces of art with a spray can. So we sat and watched him make the picture below, it was crazy, we couldn't take our eyes off him working! We just had to purchase it at the end, despite not thinking about how we would transport it to our next destination turkey! But I'm sure we will manage...
