We set an alarm today so we could make the most of another lovely day in Milan, and as we approached the kitchen, there was a place setting for each of us, with our breakfast laid out perfectly, our host was so sweet, there was a note to say it was for us and she hopes we have a lovely stay here. We tucked into our food, got ourselves ready for the day and headed into the Milan.

We saw some more sites and wandered around the streets for hours, we worked up more of a thirst than an appetite so we found a local pub where we could drown in some drinks for the afternoon.

There are two very bizarre scamming things that the locals do here to gain some extra cash, bracelets and pigeons. I will explain them both don't worry...

Pigeons- in the main square a man walks around with pockets full of birds seeds, they place in your hands and call the pigeons to you to hold on your arm. I don't know why anyone would ever want an arm full of pigeons but apparently some people do, so watch out for the pigeon man!

Bracelet- all across the main tourist areas there are men wandering around with lots of bracelets, they go to put this bracelet on your wrist and tell you it's free, when you go to wander off they chase you and demand money. If you don't give any money they get very aggressive, so try and avoid anyone from grabbing your wrist to place a bracelet on you!

Especially after a few drinks, this was a very bizarre thing to witness, we headed back to our apartment for the evening to cook dinner and relax on our balcony while the sun was beginning to set.
