Our train journey was the busiest yet, we were so cramped, every seat was taken, every aisle was clogged up with people and their belongings and a journey to Italy at this time of year, you can imagine how stuffy and hot the carriage was. Although a young couple with their baby sat opposite us kept us very entertained, she was the happiest baby we have seen!
We took a short while to work out the journey to our next apartment but we finally worked it out, on the walk to the apartment from the bus stop we were greeted with lizards running in and out of the bushes. We arrived at the room and met our hosts mum, who was so lovely, she shown us around the apartment, but she didn't speak much English but still she was so friendly and welcoming. She had already got us some cold water out the fridge and helped us bring our bags in.

We got dressed for summer and headed back into the main square, as we were about to get off the bus, the heavens opened. It was pouring down, bouncing off the floor... 1 minute prior to this it was blistering heat! We quickly ran for some shelter and realised we were in the main designer shopping centre, so we had a little browse around, luckily we were dressed a bit nicer here so we didn't get as many looks. We were greeted at every door and even offered to have a closer look at some items, it was definitely the kind of shopping for us, if we had the money for clothes instead of countries. There was a huge crowd in one corner of the centre, so we went to go and see what was going on, and it turns out there was a photo shoot going on with what seemed like a new clothing range shoot!

The rain settled down so we headed back out to explore the sights around us, the main square was huge, the cathedral was so full of detail it was lovely just to sit and look over. whilst devouring in a traditional Italian Gelato!

We began wandering further and found a lovely garden which went on forever, we fed some ducks and baby turtles before continuing the walk around the gardens.

After a long walk around the gardens we got quite hungry so we headed back to the square to get some dinner, we obviously had to try some pizza!! It was delicious, but it was just from a little lunch place, so we knew we could get even better and we cannot wait.

We went to a local shop to get some wine, and we sat in the square watching the sunset behind the cathedral, it was just lovely. Before long we got so tired and headed back to our room, we decided to lay out all our postcards from our trip so far and we were amazed by how many we could see in front of us! We tried to think of something we could buy from everywhere that wouldn't be too heavy or space consuming in our bags, so a postcard option was perfect, they fit inside our travel pouches with such ease.

It's bedtime for us now!
