Day 67, Interlaken, Switzerland

We arrived in the beautiful little town of Interlaken, in between the Lakes Thun and Brienz. It is fairly cloudy here today, but we are still so excited to explore the area. Straight away as we hopped off the train there is a beautiful river flowing through which connects both lakes either side of the town.
Almost straight away we clocked onto the Chocolate shops... so we thought it would be rude not to start our day with some Swiss chocolate. It was so nice, just melted straight away in the mouth, we decided not to go for the Lindt this time, but instead we got the handmade in store chocolates and they were perfection in a mouthful, little drops of heaven.
We swiftly moved on before we spent anymore money on chocolate and believe me the chocolates were not that cheap, I'm sure you can imagine. On either side of this hotel, we noticed the same shop on either side, which we found very bizarre, as we entered we noticed it actually went underground, all the way along to the other shop on the other side of the hotel. There were doormen in Tuxedos and top hats, even a fountain inside half way along... we almost felt bad walking through with our jeans and trainers on!
The carpet was a very expensive looking one indeed, we were so frightened to tread a single speck of dirt anywhere, the glass panels in front of the jewelry we just spotless, not a single smear mark. As we wandered around the shop admiring the expensive brands, we noticed we had been followed the entire way around, clearly they didn't like the look of us in our hoodies.
The whole area was just lovely, in the background behind the town you could see people jumping off the mountains to skydive, if you are not on a budget and have a lot of money then this place would be even better. I can't imagine how incredible this town would look from above, a small town in amongst two very beautiful lakes!
