So today is probably Charlies most excited day yet, we are off to do a tour around the Allianz area, which to those of you not interested in football (like me) then it is the stadium for the football team Bayern Munich.
We got to see everywhere in the tour, and for a football fan I can imagine this place is like heaven, you get to see both the home side of the stadium and the away teams section, including changing rooms.

The only part of the day that was a slight let down was the pitch was in the middle of being resurfaced but it was a great day and for all the football
fans out there, if you're going via Munich, it's a must see tour. The outside of the arena was unlike any other building we have seen, it looks like the entire thing is covered in bubble wrap or like the scales of a mermaids tail almost. A part of the tour we were told that the building lights up either red or blue, depending on which Munich team are playing on the night, if neither are playing it remains white.

A part of the tour, we get to see a timeline of Bayern Munich, back to what looked like ancient times based on the outfits they wore, the shorts were horrendously short... and the ball looked like it could actually break your foot. We got to see all the merchandise from the start to today, and every trophy won. The list of trophies and winning memorabilia went on and on and on, that's what you expect when visiting the stadium of a European football superpower. Memories had been made inside this stadium not only for the local fans in Munich but also the global fan-base that follows this iconic club.
The long walk around the ground had caused us to work up an appetite, we stopped into the restaurant inside the ground for a quick snack. As you can see this is another example of a way you can eat one of my favourite things - pizza!
