Day 58, Salzburg, Austria
We have arrived in our next destination Salzburg, after our shortest train journey yet, but unfortunately the weather is not our side and it's pouring down with rain! We have a bit of time before we need to go to our room to put our stuff down so to the pub it is, we wandered in and around the town to find a nice place for a drink, passing by a Manner cafe! For those of you who do not know what the brand Manner is, you have got to come to Austria and try any of their products, ranging from cakes to biscuits to chocolate. Our favourites are the wafers, lemon or strawberry ones are the best! But today we tried chocolate ones and they were incredible.
As the rain settled down, we left the cafe and made our way to a quiet side street and had a few drinks in a bar before heading to our apartment for the evening. We only got a brief look at the city by this point but we were excited to drop our belongings off so we could head back out to explore some more.
The weather prevented us from doing too much, as we didn't want to head up to the main castle today, so we wanted to see if the sky was any clearer tomorrow. We stayed on the lower ground and had some lovely walks along the river, across the bridges, around the small side streets and it was such a lovely afternoon in the end. Please excuse our rained on looks above, and my very fashionable cag in a bag.

Despite the weather, the sites along the river do not disappoint our expectations on Austria, we are so looking forward to another day of exploring this city!
