If there is one thing I love about Copenhagen, it's the city at night! We decided for our last evening to wander the streets and take in the beautiful scenery.

The streets are filled with designer and well known shops, international and local foods, alongside local independent shops and many museums and souvenir shops dotted throughout.

There is so much to do in this city, and the streets within the centre just seem to go on forever, whether you are young or old, there is something for everyone. We felt especially homely here, due to the English pubs located around the centre as well which was very nice to see, although the prices were very off putting. For our last evening we walked into the center of town and thought we'd go to one of the cities traditional 'English Pubs'. At home our pubs are always relatively cheap for drinks, however here we paid over £20 for two drinks. That's what it's like in the big cities though, some places in London are similar.

A great thing about this city is that the shops and museums are all open late at night, so there is never a dull moment here!

If you walk out to the waters edge and watch the sunset, you get such a wonderful view, as the sun sets across the other side of the river, see photo above. It's such a wonderful place, and the sunset is just one of the most appealing sights.

All the buildings are well lit up at night and there are street performers out day and night.

If you are visiting Copenhagen, even just briefly, you must see the city at night! Just wander for as long as your legs will let you and see as much as you can of the city.
